Sales Internship Position

Position Summary:
Our Sales Position intern will be expected to execute and help develop our sales strategy and analysis The Sales intern will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in prioritizing and multi-tasking assignments. Interns will be proposing products and services to our customers offering a total solution to meet their needs. Their role will also involve investigative research on markets and new sales techniques. The Sales intern will need to be proactive, engaging and utilize their networking skills. Furthermore, it is the intern’s task to make sure that we are able to reach our customers and targeted public as effective as possible.

This Sales internship position will require a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Position Elements:
The intern’s primary responsibilities will be to work with the Sales and Marketing departments with offsite duties described below.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
• Develop strong Client Relations
• Securing New Contracts
• Liaison between Marketing Team
• Assist Sales department with pipeline management
• Researching new and effective sales strategies and techniques
• Weekly & Monthly Reports on research investigated
Position Requirements:
• Must have excellent organizational, communication, writing and social skills
• Detail oriented, focused and hardworking
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, self-starter, enthusiastic team player
• This is an ideal position for a communications, marketing, or business major
• Strong knowledge in strategic writing and corporate evaluation
• Must understand competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies
• Executes sales leadership and exhibits proficiency in identifying, qualifying and solidifying business and IT solution opportunities
• Eager to learn about web technologies and the green community
