Festival Selvámonos 2016: two days of music, art and nature!
The Festival Selvámonos returns to Oxapampa for its eighth edition, in a beautiful valley on the edge of the Peruvian rainforest, Friday 1rst and Saturday 2nd of July.
The biggest alternative festival in Peru is preparing for its 2016 edition, an event that will exceed all expectations: two days of concerts and live performances, three concert stages, 20 bands, music and activities for children and adults from 1pm to 5am.
This year, the Festival Selvámonos invited 15 peruvian bands and 5 international bands that will bring to the peruvian audience new musical experiences from around the world. Get ready for some rock, reggae fusion, cumbia, hip hop, folk, tropical, punk, funk, latin ska, electro, indie pop and house music!

From Monday 27th to Thursday 30th of June, the "Cultural Week" offers free outdoor film screenings, theatre performances, classical music ensembles, and jams between artists from the Festival and local artists, in the streets of Oxapampa. Selvámonos also organises free artistic and environmental workshops.
You can choose to camp in a field by a river surrounded by mountains, or go to a hostel in town. Whatever you choose, be sure that you will live a unique experience. Wednesday 29th of June is a public holiday: come early and enjoy music, art and nature in the biggest festival of the peruvian jungle!
